Roger Kynard Erickson, known as Roky Erickson, was an American singer, songwriter, and guitarist. He was a pioneer of psychedelic rock as the frontman of the 13th Floor Elevators. Erickson's work was deeply influenced by horror movies and comic books, alongside his experiences with mental illness.
